What the tools do
The image tool locally re-exports JPEG, PNG, or WebP files to create a copy without compatible metadata. The video tool checks MP4/MOV files for common fields and, when recognized fields are found and no recognizable C2PA indicator is detected, creates a copy without re-encoding audio or video. The text tool analyzes and cleans common invisible characters. The link cleaner removes only known tracking parameters and preserves others. PDF and Office tools remove common properties described on their pages; other data may remain.
Files are processed in your browser. Images, videos, text, and documents are not sent to an Digital Workshop API. The link cleaner transforms addresses locally and does not visit their destinations.
Important limits
The tools do not identify authorship or promise to remove AI labels or watermarks embedded in content. The video tool looks for a recognizable C2PA identifier used in MP4/MOV files and stops cleaning if it finds one, but this check does not validate credentials or guarantee detection of every provenance format. Unknown blocks are preserved. PDF and Office cleanup does not necessarily remove comments, revisions, attachments, signatures, embedded data, or information in visible content. Re-saving a signed PDF or Office document can invalidate its signature; do not use the result when formal validity must be preserved. Re-exporting an image may slightly change quality, color, or size. Unknown link parameters are kept and may be needed by the destination site.
Your files and content
You remain responsible for the files and text you choose, the rights associated with them, and where you share them. Do not use the tools to violate rights, laws, or third-party service rules.
Availability
The service is free and may change, become temporarily unavailable, or stop supporting a format. Size limits and supported formats are listed with each tool. Always review the final file before using it.
