TRANSPARENCY

Privacy policy

This page explains how data is handled by Digital Workshop’s image, video, text, PDF, Office, and link tools.

Last updated: October 24, 2026.

Files, text, and links you choose

Images, MP4/MOV videos, text, PDFs, and DOCX, XLSX, or PPTX documents are processed locally in your browser. These files and text are not sent to an Digital Workshop API, stored in an account, or used to train models. Pasted links are also transformed locally; the site does not visit their destinations. Previews, read files, and temporary copies remain in browser memory while you use the page and are released when removed or when you close it.

The video metadata tool reads common fields it recognizes and, when compatible, creates a copy without re-encoding audio or video. A recognizable C2PA provenance credential makes it stop; this check does not validate the credential or guarantee recognition of every format. The image tool re-exports a copy and may slightly change quality, color, or size. PDF and Office tools clean only the common properties described on their pages; other data may remain. The text cleaner removes or normalizes the character classes described in its interface. Review each result before sharing.

Hosting, libraries, and technical data

The site is delivered by a web hosting provider. Like any website visit, a request may involve technical data needed to connect and deliver the site securely, subject to provider policies. The PDF and Office tools load the pdf-lib and JSZip support libraries from the jsDelivr CDN. The video joiner loads the FFmpeg WebAssembly core on demand when you start analysis. These requests involve the scripts and usual connection data, but the files you choose are not sent to the CDN. Digital Workshop does not associate connection data with the local content you clean.

Optional site analytics

Google Analytics 4 loads only after you accept analytics in the site notice. It may measure pages visited, sessions, browser and device information, and approximate location, along with aggregated tool-use events: which tool category was used (image, video metadata or joining, text, PDF, Office, or links), whether analysis or cleaning finished, and whether a result was copied or downloaded. For images, we also record the number of files cleaned in a batch. These events do not include file, text, or link content; file names; metadata values; or the characters found. When enabled, Analytics may use first-party cookies such as _ga to distinguish visits. Measurement is not required to use the tools and starts only after your affirmative choice.

Your choice is saved in this browser for up to 180 days. You can change it at any time using in the footer. If you decline, the Analytics tag is not loaded. If you withdraw a previous choice, measurement is disabled and Analytics cookies are removed when available in this browser. For information about how Google Analytics collects and processes data, see Safeguarding your data and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Advertising and cookies

This site is configured to use Google AdSense Auto ads. Ads depend on Google approving the site and on account settings. Google and participating advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, limit how often an ad appears, and help prevent fraud. Depending on advertising settings and available privacy choices, ads may consider previous visits to this or other sites.

You can manage Google ad personalization in Google Ads Settings. To learn how Google uses data on sites and apps that show ads, read Google’s Advertising and Privacy policy. For some third-party advertising choices, you can also visit YourAdChoices.

If Google shows a consent or privacy-choice message, you can use the options presented in it. Availability and effect depend on your region, applicable rules, and provider settings.
